Sahn recalls Classic model helmet

SAHN, a small Vancouver company, has recalled their Classic skate-style helmet.

CPSC announced today the recall of SAHN Classic SH523 adult bicycle helmets sold from May 2013 through December 2015 for about $130.

SAHN is a Vancouver company selling a skate-style helmet in more sophisticated urban trim with a visor.

The helmets have been recalled because they do not meet the impact requirements of the CPSC bicycle helmet standard.

The remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bicycle helmets and contact SAHN Designs for a free replacement helmet.

The announcement with details is on the CPSC website.
