Virginia Tech Announces New Initiatives
In a newsletter today Virginia Tech’s Dr. Barry Miller rolled out plans for updates and new initiatives. We are attaching his message.
Tech will be updating methodologies to take account of new discoveries in biomechanics and injury mechanisms. Some helmet star ratings may change as a result.
They are also beginning to put together a new consortium of industry, academic and organizational members with an annual conference discussing helmet and brain injury issues. The first one may be in 2027.
